What's New
If you would like some one-on-one help with your computer, you can contact a student and arrange to meet at the Library for a consultation. Four Arlington students are volunteering to help with Apple products, fixing your PC troubles, learning to design games, becoming independent with your computer and more. You can make an appointment by calling 802-375-2929, or sending an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Students are available Wednesdays through Fridays from 12:00 to 3:00 for the rest of the summer.

And don't forget to stop in and borrow a State Parks Pass, a State Historic Sites Pass, or the Clark pass when you have company to entertain, or just want to spend a day outdoors. Passes can be reserved in advance. Just call us.

What's New
Our children's summer programs continue on Wednesday, July 22. In the morning, at 10:00, children ages 4 through 7 will have stories and activities about superheroes. And in the afternoon, at 1:30, children ages 8-12 will learn to tell stories with comics, presented by Ericc Cram. Ericc will show some drawing techniques, talk about what makes comics a special art form, and then we'll practice doodling and make a comic of our own. The possibilities are endless.

And don't forget our preschool story time on Tuesday morning at 10:00. Our theme this month is Starry Nights, and we'll have stories, fingerplays and activities.

Russell Vermontiana Collection
The collection has been busy the last week with visitors from as far away as Virginia. They descend from the Searle(s) family, one of the original settlers from 1761.

The Sandgate, Arlington and Sunderland Historical Society will hold its second meeting Sunday, July 19 at 4:00 in the Library's meeting room. If you are interested in local history, come and join us.
